Welcome!
Hello and welcome, friend! My name is Jim and this is my blog, constructed entirely of dreams and opinions. My lawyer said that a disclaimer would be a good idea, but he didn't include any jokes to go with it. Damned if I can think of any either.

Pat Passed Away

I wrote and watercolor-illustrated a little book about my Mom passing away.
Download it for free and consider a donation to her favorite charity, the
Revlon Run Walk for women.

None of this would be possible without my friend Chris and his

heart beat
I can feel my heart beating in my teeth. I’m judging it merely by feel to be around 60 bpm. I can feel it pounding slowly in my chest on each beat, and my right hand happens to be laying on my side and I can feel it in my hip.
If I put my hand under the pillow, I can feel it beating in my fingertips.
I can feel it spread from my chest throughout my body, fingertips last.
I am holding my teeth very slightly apart and they click together with the force of each beat. Not loud enough to make a noise, but I can feel it.
How odd.
