I have eaten some chili that was far too hot to be consumed and now the roof of my mouth is burned and tender like a scalded pirate dog.

I am going to sleep and then waking up and driving all over town and then playing guitars and leaping about and sending messages with my phone that make no sense.

I got a chance to hang with the guys from Buckcherry Saturday night. They were all super cool dudes. We sat on their bus and watched the Mayweather/de la Hoya fight. It was a close fight, but a lot of fun with everyone hanging around.

The show was killer too. I only caught the last half of it, but I did get to see them perform “Crazy Bitch”, a song which reminds me of someone I recently dated. You know who you are.

Well, I have to say that our friends at SonicBids have done something right. They’re offering a free pass to the Atlantis music conference here in Atlanta with your $35 submission fee to be considered to play at the conference.

The last time I played Atlantis I played at two in the morning on a thursday to an extremely empty dance club at Underground Atlanta, but this year it’s all contained in the CW Complex (formerly Earthlink Live), so that part may have gone away. Hopefully no one is bothering to maintain the pretense any longer that Underground Atlanta is a good place to do anything but get panhandled.

Let’s also not forget that it isn’t even underground, the Kenny’s Alley part, but it should be. Far under ground.
